You don’t need a weatherman …

climate (n.)
late 14c., “horizontal zone of the earth,” Scottish, from Old French climat “region, part of the earth,” from Latin clima (genitive climatis) “region; slope of the Earth,” from Greek klima “region, zone,” literally “an inclination, slope,” thus “slope of the Earth from equator to pole,” from root of klinein “to slope, to lean,” from PIE root *klei- “to lean” (see lean (v.)).

Whatever the climate might or might not be doing, in these parts, it has certainly been changeable.  From bright, cold March sun through heavy snow, to biblical rain and out the other side to hints of summer, we have had it all these last seven days:

… bitter March landscape

… high water

… lonesome highway

… winter returns

… beneath Hexham Bridge

… bring me sunshine

No matter what the climate is, your photos are great. 🙂

You’ve had changeable, we’ve had extraordinary – 4 straight days of sunshine in Wales. But as Dina says, great photos, Robin. So much weather drama.

Thanks Tish. The untold story is that from Friday through Sunday I was away on a Golf Society trip to Oulton Hall near Leeds. I had invested heavily in new golf waterproofs fulling expecting to get soaked. In the event all three days were glorious – I therefore claim entire credit for the sudden improvement in the weather 🙂

I always say that March is the only month in the year where you can experience all four seasons, every week. We are having the biblical rains now. Love the shots.

Many thanks Cate – our four seasons in one day can stretch into May 😦

Well, it certainly isn’t boring. 😉 Gorgeous photos, as usual, Robin. I like how you snuck in a bike/golf shot.

Super shots, Robin 🙂 A little of everything. That’s weather, isn’t it?
