Excellent Robin, I really like this as a whole for various reasons. Firstly the use of Photoshop in a very creative and positive way a very good example of how to turn a good photo into an excellent photo, it’s very similar to the effect that giving a poem a different title can have. But you’ve got to know that it’s possible in the first place.
Also I like how the words from Dylan are appropriate to what you have done in the pictures, which yet again enhances the pictures even further.
And finally (actually you could probably guess this), I absolutely love that Dylan song and funnily enough just happened to be listening to it yesterday. It’s not on his best album but I would say for me that as regards lyrics alone it is his best song that he has ever written.
A masterclass in how the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts, hats off to you good Sir.

More than the Stones or the Beatles, the early Dylan albums were the soundtrack to my teenage years – yes, I am that old! 🙂 I loved his acoustic sound but unlike some Mancunians (the Free Trade Hall concert) I was passionate about his electric stuff – Blonde on Blonde was just so good that I did my utmost to adopt a look and style based on the cover – something I only gave up as the hair started to thin 🙂
The pictures are from a 2012 trip to NY where, of course, we passed through Greenwich Village, just by the steps where the guide claimed he wrote Time They Are a Changin.
