This mildly disturbing photograph was taken at Giusti Giardino, Verona. I was fortunate enough to snatch a few images from someone else’s photo shoot; catching the models off guard being potentially more interesting than the professionally posed versions. I promise this owes nothing to Photoshop but there are more models in this photograph than at first seems apparent – four in costume and one small walk-on part by a short, naked, bit-part player. Continuing my recent ‘Do you see what I see‘ theme, can you spot the uninvited guest appearance from the Addams Family member? Click on the image to enlarge and get the full effect:
Meanwhile, in the centre of Verona, the ever-vigilant local policeman takes a short break prior to an imminent arrest, handcuffs at the ready:
Very good, so Hand exists in the real world, should we be afraid??!!! 🙂
Thanks Sue – it does, and we should 🙂
‘Dedos!’ The name we use in our house for ‘the hand’ we missed you!
“Thing” on her shoulder!
You got it Greg 🙂
The Hand (of Death?) tapping her shoulder?
Yup, the very same 🙂 I think it is time I gave the creepy stuff a rest.
It all looks like good ‘armless fun!
By the way, that’s a young Sacha Distel in the background (oh, dear – showing my age 😉 ).
Enough to make you laugh your head off 🙂
Trouble is, I remember good old Sacha only too well 😦
Yes – I remember ‘im well – along with Charles Aznavour (sp?) and the chap from the Cointreau advert 🙂
yes, THE hand! 🙂 Have a colorful weekend, even though I love your black and white pix! 🙂
amicalement, Mélanie
You got it Mélanie :-). Have a grand weekend too in your chambre japonaise…..very stylish, Robin
I’ve been to Pays basque this weekend… 🙂 but then again: I love and I miss Japan sooo much… My very best and have a fine evening, Mélanie
Short and invisible! I loved the image blown up – brilliant – and i too like the off-pose photos. I’m interested though – did you see the hand before you took the shot? I ask because sometimes I take a shot that pleases me and then find, serendipitously, that there is more to the picture than I had seen with the naked eye. 🙂
Many thanks – I confess I didn’t notice the hand until I looked on a PC screen and then thought it spoiled the image so removed it with Photoshop. She was a pretty girl but that hand is not very attractive – easy to believe it is not hers :-).
I love both photographs-but the top one is wonderfully eerie-nice work!
Many thanks, that hand definitely does not belong to that person 🙂
