Weekly Photo Challenge: The World Through Your Eyes

The world through my eyes imagines The People of the Sea emerging from the waves, their secret story betrayed by a copper plate daguerréotype wrapped in the folds of a treasured Selkie’s skin:Selkie footsteps

Inspired by David Thomson’s The People of The Sea – Celtic tales of the seal-folk and Ocean Spell.

Love the daguerreotype effect. It adds mystery.

Many thanks, I needed a vote of confidence on this one – I wasn’t convinced it had any merit at all.

This is beautiful and haunting…I love the atmosphere of mystery you created…..and where do those footprints lead? Really lovely creative post. But then you know I have a fondness for Selkies 🙂
