The sun shines brightly through the window laying fleeting patterns across the floor; a cloud passes across the face of the sun and the patterns are gone:
This is the floor of the Kew Palace kitchens taken yesterday, 6th June. In the main kitchen the images of hands preparing food are projected onto the tables creating the fleeting illusion of long gone cooks at work.
I enjoyed your interpretation of this week’s challenge!
Many thanks, I wasn’t sure about it so glad you liked it
This photo speaks to me, great shot!
Many thanks and thanks for taking the time to look.
wonderful! and a great interpretation of the theme, i’m still working on it 😉
Many thanks – good luck with your interpretation, I look forward to seeing it.
I love shadow shots but they are definitely fleeting. Well done.

Thanks Janet – I think I have got to the stage of thinking – “I will take that, it might come in useful for a photo challenge” 🙂
I know. 🙂 I’m whipping out my iPad all the time to get pictures, whether for the photo challenge, my blog or just me. I hate when I’m driving on the highway and spot a perfect shot but there’s nowhere safe to pull over to get it. Happens way too often!
The shadows of time on the floor with its passing moments reminds us all of how quickly it becomes history in a matter of seconds.
Many thanks, exactly right.
