These images are intended to portray the passage of time. They were taken somewhere in the Lot and Quercy region of southern France but with the passage of time I have forgotten exactly where; perhaps they are also connected with memory. The original occupants must have considered themselves invincible but now they are dust and the floors have all slipped through – such a heavy door to protect so many empty rooms.
